Zimmer Biomet CAD-CAM Zimmer Cuttable Ti Base is a Ti-Base library for exocad DentalCAD that covers the cuttable titanium base from the Zimmer side of the Zimmer Biomet CAD-CAM portfolio. It contains the interface and outer geometry that exocad uses to align the digital restoration with a physical base whose height has been reduced in the lab.
Inside the implant wizard the CAD designer picks this library and then designs a crown, small bridge or hybrid abutment on the cut-down base. The shortenable design is especially useful when interocclusal space is tight. It suits labs that frequently produce cement- or screw-retained restorations on Zimmer connections.
The library can be downloaded and used in the usual exocad implant workflow. It complements the standard Zimmer Ti-Base library with a height-adjustable option.
