BioHorizons CAD-CAM BioHorizons Cuttable Ti Base is an implant library for exocad DentalCAD that provides the Ti-Base geometry of the BioHorizons Cuttable titanium base. In the exocad implant module it is selected so the CAD module knows the bonding base, screw channel and emergence reference for the cuttable Ti-Base solution.
The technician can then design single crowns or small bridges that will be cemented onto the Ti-Base after milling or printing. Because the base is cuttable, designs can be adapted to different occlusal heights while keeping the digital interface consistent with the library.
The library can be downloaded and used in any exocad workflow that involves BioHorizons cuttable titanium bases. It is aimed at dental technicians and CAD designers producing screw-retained hybrid restorations on BioHorizons.
