The Implant Direct SmartBase Non-Engaging 4mm library brings the 4mm SmartBase geometry into the exocad DentalCAD implant workflow. It is delivered in two variants — Non-engaging and FDA · Non-engaging — so the designer can pick the option matching the clinical documentation and regional requirements.
As a non-engaging interface, it is intended for multi-unit splinted restorations where rotational lock at the implant is not needed. Inside DentalCAD the geometry positions the restoration relative to the implant axis and provides the correct emergence reference for cement- or screw-retained work.
