Thommen DyTi-Base PF 5 0 PEEK Captive Screw
This library introduces the Thommen DyTi-Base PF 5.0 PEEK with a captive screw to exocad DentalCAD. It supplies the Ti-Base geometry that the CAD engine uses to align the designed restoration with the actual implant component. Within the implant wizard the user picks this entry, after which crowns and short bridges on the PF 5.0 platform can be modelled in the usual way.
The captive screw option is helpful when the clinician wants the screw to remain trapped within the crown channel, eliminating the risk of dropping it during try-in. PF 5.0 is the wider PF interface and is commonly chosen for posterior, load-bearing locations.
The library can be downloaded and is suited to labs that produce restorations on Thommen DyTi-Base components.
