The Camlog camlog one piece abutment CAM CoCr-Blank type ME library is used in exocad DentalCAD to design custom one-piece abutments on the original Camlog connection. The data set defines the implant interface and ties the abutment to a CoCr blank of type ME, so the milled part can be produced directly from the corresponding CAM blank.
The technician selects the abutment in the implant module, then freely shapes the emergence profile, margin position and the upper body while the connection stays exactly to specification. This is suitable for both cement-retained and screw-retained restorations where a custom abutment is preferred over a stock part.
The library can be downloaded and added to the exocad implant list. It is aimed at laboratories that mill their own CoCr abutments for Camlog cases and want a clean, manufacturer-correct starting point.
