BioHorizons PEEK Temp Non-Hexed Vulcan is an implant library for exocad DentalCAD dedicated to provisional restorations on BioHorizons PEEK temporary abutments. The included temporary component is supplied in a non-hexed version, meaning there is no anti-rotational feature at the implant interface.
In the exocad workflow this geometry is used to model screw-retained provisional crowns and bridges, and is particularly indicated for multi-unit bridges where passive fit between several units is essential. It also fits immediate loading scenarios where a robust, polishable PEEK base is preferred.
The library can be downloaded and used directly in DentalCAD. It is aimed at CAD designers and technicians producing temporary implant restorations on the BioHorizons system.
