Megagen AY Ext W Cust Abt 9mm is the implant library for exocad DentalCAD covering the customizable abutment blank for the AY Ext W external connection in a compact 9 mm variant. The 9 mm post is intended for cases with limited prosthetic space, where a taller blank would compromise occlusion or the restoration thickness.
Inside DentalCAD the designer assigns this library to the AY Ext W implant position and then freely shapes the abutment surface, margin and emergence while the connection geometry remains under manufacturer control. The exported STL is ready for milling an individual titanium abutment that fits the AY Ext W implant.
It serves laboratories producing customized abutments for cement- or screw-retained restorations on the Megagen AY W platform. The library is provided as a download for the exocad implant workflow.
