Megagen AY Ext S Cust Abt 9mm is the implant library for exocad DentalCAD that describes the customizable abutment blank for the AY Ext S external interface at 9 mm post height. The 9 mm option targets clinical situations where the antagonist is close and a 13 mm blank would interfere with occlusion.
Within DentalCAD the designer selects this library on the implant position and freely defines emergence profile, axis and margin geometry while the AY Ext S seating remains fixed to manufacturer specification. The exported STL is ready to be milled in titanium and screwed onto a Megagen AY Ext S implant in the lab.
It is intended for laboratories that produce individualized abutments for cement- or screw-retained restorations on the AY system. The library is offered as a download for use with the exocad implant workflow.
