Megagen AY Ext W Cust Abt 13mm is an exocad DentalCAD implant library that delivers the customizable abutment blank for the AY Ext W external connection with a tall 13 mm post. The taller 13 mm geometry suits restorations where additional vertical material is needed for the emergence profile or for steep angulation correction.
In DentalCAD the library is linked to the AY Ext W implant position, after which the designer sculpts the abutment surface, margin and axis while the connection stays true to the manufacturer specification. The resulting STL is exported for CAM milling of a titanium custom abutment.
It is targeted at laboratories restoring Megagen AY implants of the W diameter range with individualized abutment solutions. The library can be downloaded for use in the exocad implant workflow.
