Megagen AY Ext S Cust Abt 13mm is the exocad DentalCAD implant library covering the customizable abutment blank for the AY Ext S external connection in its tall 13 mm variant. The 13 mm post gives the CAD designer ample vertical volume to define an anatomically driven emergence and a margin positioned according to the gingival architecture.
In DentalCAD the library is assigned to the AY Ext S implant position, after which the abutment is freely shaped while the connection interface stays exactly to manufacturer geometry. Typical use cases include posterior cement-retained crowns and front teeth with deep soft tissue tunnels.
It is aimed at laboratories milling custom titanium abutments for clinics using the Megagen AY system. The library can be downloaded for the exocad implant workflow.
