Implant Direct Smart Base Engaging 6mm Modified4mm

Implant Direct SmartBaseEngaging 6mm Modified4mm is an exocad DentalCAD library based on the 6 mm engaging Implant Direct SmartBase Ti-base, modified to a reduced 4 mm working height. The engaging connection keeps anti-rotation features, which makes it suitable for single-unit crowns where the restoration must not rotate on the implant.

The shortened height is meant for clinical situations with limited interocclusal space, where a full 6 mm base would interfere with the planned crown contour. Inside the CAD project the modified SmartBase is picked from the implant list and the crown is built respecting its trimmed bonding surface.

This option is convenient for laboratories that already shorten SmartBase chimneys in production and want a digital twin that matches the physical part. The library is available for download and is used directly in the standard exocad implant workflow.
