Dentsply Sirona Pre-milled blanks Straumann BLX Ti

With this Dentsply Sirona library the titanium pre-milled blank for Straumann BLX becomes available inside exocad DentalCAD. The dataset reproduces the BLX connection seat and the outer envelope of the blank so the designer cannot accidentally model outside the actual puck.

In an exocad implant project the blank is chosen at setup and silently controls minimum wall thickness, emergence and screw channel options. Typical uses are individual titanium abutments, screw-retained crowns and small bars on BLX. The library can be downloaded and is intended for laboratories that mill their own Straumann-compatible titanium blanks. It pairs well with the matching CoCr BLX library when both materials are processed on the same workflow.
