Straumann Variobase local milling

Straumann Variobase local milling is an exocad DentalCAD library targeted at laboratories that mill Straumann Variobase restorations on their own CAM equipment. The geometries reproduce the Variobase mating surface so that crowns, copings and bridges designed in DentalCAD interface correctly with the titanium base.

In the CAD project the corresponding Variobase entry is selected before continuing with the standard crown or bridge workflow. The library can be downloaded from the catalogue and used immediately in routine implant cases. It is well suited to CAD designers and milling technicians who keep the full Variobase production chain in-house. Both single-unit and short-span Variobase restorations are typical applications.
