Straumann Variobase ASC local milling

Straumann Variobase ASC local milling brings the angulated screw channel variant of the Variobase platform into exocad DentalCAD for local milling. Once selected in the implant step, DentalCAD positions the restoration on the Variobase seat and takes the ASC angulation into account for the screw access path.

The technician can then model single units where the access hole must exit on the palatal or occlusal surface rather than through aesthetics. The library suits labs producing screw-retained crowns on the standard Variobase interface in-house. It keeps the design and milling chain inside the lab. Available for download.
