Neodent Customized-Abutment centralized-milling is an implant library for exocad DentalCAD dedicated to the design of patient-specific abutments on Neodent connections, with manufacturing handled by a centralized milling centre. It supplies the abutment base geometry that DentalCAD uses to constrain the connection area while leaving the emergence profile, margin and axis fully editable.
Working with this library, the technician can create customized abutments that respect Neodent interface tolerances and are ready for production at the central facility. Because the data is matched to centralized milling, it is mainly aimed at laboratories that outsource the production of individual Neodent abutments rather than milling them locally.
It pairs well with the other Neodent libraries when a workflow combines stock and customized solutions. The library can be downloaded and used within the standard exocad DentalCAD environment.
