Dentsply Sirona Temp Abutment Profile EV is a CAD library that adds the Profile temporary abutment on the EV interface to the exocad DentalCAD implant catalogue. It ships with a temporary component and abutment geometry, so the designer can both align the case to the physical part and shape a restoration with a controlled emergence profile.
In the DentalCAD workflow the abutment is chosen during implant setup and then drives the placement of the prosthetic on top of it. The Profile geometry is particularly useful when soft-tissue contour matters, for example in aesthetic anterior provisionals.
It targets technicians who deliver interim restorations and want to preserve a planned emergence into the final case. The library can be downloaded and integrated into DentalCAD alongside other EV components.
