BioHorizons SmartShape ASCTiBase is a dedicated implant library for exocad DentalCAD focused on the SmartShape ASC titanium base from BioHorizons. After it is selected in the implant project, the CAD designer can place the implant geometry, align the access channel and design the restoration body around the ASC TiBase.
The Angulated Screw Channel approach is particularly useful when the implant axis would otherwise place the screw access on an aesthetic or functional surface. Within the exocad workflow the library can be used for both cement- or screw-retained restorations built on this titanium base.
It can be downloaded and used directly in DentalCAD. The library is aimed at CAD designers and laboratories working with BioHorizons SmartShape ASC restorative components.
