PDL CatBack1 5.2 is an exocad DentalCAD tooth anatomy library authored by PDL. It continues the evolution of the CatBack1 5.x generation with cleaner topology and improved behaviour during automatic morphing. The technician loads it as the base shape, and exocad then fits the morphology to the preparation, antagonist and proximal contacts.
Occlusal anatomy is moderate in depth, which makes the result equally suitable for monolithic zirconia, lithium disilicate or PMMA temporaries. It is a balanced choice for laboratories looking for a versatile posterior and anterior set without exaggerated cusp height. The library can be downloaded and used in the standard DentalCAD design workflow.
