PDL PDL CatBack1 1.0
PDL CatBack1 1.0 marks the first stable milestone of the CatBack1 anatomy line developed by PDL for exocad DentalCAD. The set carries a complete arrangement of upper and lower tooth shapes that DentalCAD takes as the master morphology for crowns, bridge units and full-contour restorations.
In daily work the technician opens the anatomy selector, picks CatBack1 1.0, lets the proposal engine adapt the shape to the preparation and antagonist, and then refines contacts, fissures and ridges with the usual tools. Compared with the 0.x revisions this version is consolidated and intended for production use rather than experimentation.
It fits laboratories that want a clean, balanced morphology suitable for both posterior chewing surfaces and anterior contours. The library is available to download. It can coexist with other PDL anatomies and be chosen per case according to the desired tooth character.
