PSM Medical

The PSM Medical CAD library for RealGUIDE contains digital models of temporary orthodontic mini-implants (TADs, Temporary Anchorage Devices) from PSM Medical, a German manufacturer focused on orthodontic solutions. A prosthetic connection is not applicable, as TADs serve as skeletal anchorage for tooth movement rather than as a restorative platform.

The library enables orthodontists and surgeons to accurately position mini-screws when planning guided placement in RealGUIDE: selecting insertion sites, controlling angulation and depth, and avoiding adjacent roots. It supports cases of distalization, intrusion, mesialization and anchorage reinforcement. Used with CBCT data and STL scans to design surgical guides for PSM TADs.
