The Straumann VeloDrill Pilot protocol library for exocad exoplan provides the pilot drilling parameters of the Straumann VeloDrill system for designing surgical guides. It includes sleeve geometries and offsets matching the pilot drill protocol, ensuring accurate implant positioning and drilling depth during osteotomy preparation.
Intended for pilot-drill guided surgery, where the guide directs the initial drill and subsequent drilling is performed freehand along the marked axis. Suitable for implantologists and dental technicians planning Straumann implants (BLX, BLT, TLX and other VeloDrill-compatible lines).
In exoplan, the library integrates into the Guide Creation module for automatic sleeve placement and offset calculation. Connection type is not applicable for surgical templates. Enables precise planning, safe drilling and a streamlined digital implant workflow.
