The BioHorizons CGS (Computer Guided Surgery) Pilot protocol library for exocad exoplan enables digital implant planning using a pilot guided drilling workflow. Unlike fully guided protocols, the Pilot approach controls only the initial drill position and angulation, while subsequent osteotomy steps and implant placement follow the conventional freehand technique.
The library includes digital models of implants, guide sleeves and drilling parameters required to design surgical guides in exoplan. It is suitable for implantologists and dental labs working with BioHorizons Tapered Internal, Tapered Pro and compatible implant lines. Used to generate templates for milling or 3D printing, improving predictability of the surgical phase.
