This library supplies the Multi-Unit (MU) support geometry for the Dentsply Sirona Ankylos BalanceBase concept in exocad DentalCAD. It is used to describe the prosthetic interface between a BalanceBase abutment and the screw-retained superstructure that the CAD designer creates on top of it.
In the exocad implant workflow the entry is selected for each Ankylos position that has been restored with a BalanceBase, so the multi-unit platform is recognised correctly during framework design. Working with this dedicated geometry keeps occlusal screw access, emergence and the connection seat aligned with the physical components.
The library can be downloaded and added to the implant catalogue used in daily production. It is intended for technicians fabricating bridges and full-arch frameworks on Ankylos via BalanceBase.
