BioHorizons multiunit is an implant component library for exocad DentalCAD focused on Multi-Unit (MU) geometries from the BioHorizons system. The MU components are used as the prosthetic interface for screw-retained bridges, hybrids and full-arch reconstructions.
Within the exocad implant workflow the designer assigns the multi-unit position, and the software references the correct seat to align the prosthetic mesh. This is essential for protocols such as immediate loading on multiple implants where angulation correction is required.
The library suits laboratories producing All-on-4, All-on-6 and segmental bridges on BioHorizons implants. It can be downloaded and used in exocad DentalCAD as part of an implant-based case. The result is a clean digital pathway from scan to milled or printed framework.
