VITA vita2
vita2 is a tooth anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD that offers an additional collection of tooth morphologies in the visual tradition of VITA prosthetic teeth. In the standard CAD workflow it is selected as the reference anatomy, after which every proposed crown, pontic or full-contour restoration follows its cusp design and outline form.
The designer then uses morphing, scaling and free-form tools to harmonise the proposal with antagonists, adjacent teeth and the planned occlusal scheme. Compared with vita1, this set gives the technician a second stylistic option in the same visual family, which is helpful when matching different patient cases.
The library is available for download and integrates with the regular anatomy picker. vita2 is recommended for users who want a coherent VITA-style aesthetic with a bit more variation across their restorative work.
