Matt Roberts elmat
elmat is an anatomy library for exocad DentalCAD that supplies tooth morphologies for the software's design step. Once selected, the included shapes are projected onto the prepared tooth and then the CAD designer adjusts cusps, ridges and contact areas with the usual exocad tools.
The library covers typical indications such as single crowns, multi-unit bridges and full-anatomy monolithic restorations. Its tooth character differs from the built-in exocad shapes, which is helpful when a case demands a slightly different occlusal pattern or anterior expression.
The library can be downloaded and used in parallel with other anatomy sets already installed in DentalCAD. It is aimed at technicians who like to keep several morphology options on hand and pick the one that fits each clinical situation best.
