DTLab DTLab.24

DTLab.24 is a tooth anatomy library aimed at users of exocad DentalCAD. It offers a coherent family of upper and lower tooth shapes that share consistent cusp inclinations and proportions across the arch. In the design wizard the morphology is positioned over the preparation and then adapted to neighbouring teeth and antagonist contacts.

Typical applications include single crowns, short and long span bridges, and monolithic full-anatomy restorations milled or pressed from ceramic or composite blanks. It is a useful addition for technicians who want to broaden their library of starting shapes without changing their core CAD routine. The library can be downloaded for use in DentalCAD.
