DTLab DTLab.2

DTLab.2 is a tooth anatomy library aimed at exocad DentalCAD users who want a dependable reference shape during crown, bridge and full-anatomy design. The morphologies are drawn with calm, natural relief: cusps and ridges are clearly readable but not exaggerated, which keeps the proposal easy to adapt.

In the workflow the set is assigned at the tooth selection step, and the standard DentalCAD tools then morph it to the preparation and the antagonist. The library is equally usable for monolithic restorations and as a guideline for coping designs that will be layered manually.

Within a multi-unit case the teeth share a coherent style, so the final restoration reads as a unit. Less experienced designers will appreciate the predictability of the starting form, while seasoned technicians can use it as a base for their own modifications. It can be downloaded and used inside DentalCAD without further preparation.
