DTLab DTLab.18

DTLab.18 is a tooth anatomy library prepared for exocad DentalCAD and used as a reference shape when designing crowns, bridges and full-anatomy restorations. The morphology is balanced between expressive occlusal relief and a smooth transition into proximal contacts, which keeps later adjustments to a minimum.

During design the library is chosen at the tooth selection stage and then morphed to the prepared situation and the opposing arch. The set works well for monolithic ceramic restorations as well as for layered cases where the anatomical proposal serves as a coping reference.

Within a single case the units share a common stylistic language, so quadrant and full-arch reconstructions look consistent. It is a useful addition for any laboratory that wants more variety beyond the default tooth libraries. The files can be downloaded and used inside DentalCAD without additional preparation.
