DTLab DTLab.0

DTLab.0 is a tooth anatomy library prepared for exocad DentalCAD. It provides a collection of reference tooth morphologies that the CAD designer selects when starting the modelling of a crown, a bridge unit or a monolithic full-anatomy restoration.

Each tooth is positioned over the preparation and then refined with exocad's free-forming tools to match occlusion, proximal contacts and the surrounding dentition. Working from a consistent anatomical set helps to keep balanced shapes across multi-unit cases and shortens the time spent on routine restorations.

The library can be downloaded and used in parallel with other anatomy collections already installed in the laboratory. It is a practical option for technicians who want an additional morphology style to reach for when the default exocad anatomies do not fit the clinical situation.
